Below Are Some of the Most Common Questions You May Have.
(If we have not answered your question, please feel free to Email or call our office!)
Question - What Bible do you use at Liberty? (As you will find on our "Beliefs" page, we use only the King James Bible in our preaching and teaching.)
Question - What kind of music can we expect to find at Liberty? (We use only the hymnbook for our congregational singing. We do use various other gospel songs for offertories and special music, but we strive to avoid what is commonly referred to as "contemporary" music.)
Question - Is there a dress code for attending Liberty Baptist Church? (We encourage people to wear whatever they feel is appropriate for coming to the Church house. This may be different for different people. Many of our members dress in traditional church attire, with shirts and ties on the men and dresses and skirts on the ladies. This is not a requirement for attendance, and you will be welcomed regardless of what you wear.)
Question - How long are the services? (Most of our services do not last longer than an hour to and hour and fifteen minutes. The sermon is not usually more the 35 minutes. We try very hard to recognize the hectic schedule people live by and do our best to start on time.)
Question - I have young children. Will there be a nursery for them? (We have nursery provided for each service from birth to 3 years of age. Our nursery workers are caring, wonderful ladies. Many of them are mothers themselves. We strive to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for our little ones.)
Question - Do you have a discipleship ministry? (Our greatest discipleship ministry is our Sunday school program. We encourage all new converts and new visitors to our church to enroll in a Sunday school class. In addition, in 2012 we will be starting a brand new discipleship class which will focus on one-on-one discipleship. If you are interested in discipleship please let the Pastor know so that we may pair you up with a trained discipler!)
Question - In my last church I was very involved. Will I have the opportunity to serve if I join Liberty Baptist Church? ( Absolutely! While every church is different in regards to leadership requirements we strive to give people ample opportunity to serve. There is a waiting period for certain ministries, but from the moment you join there will be many areas in which you can serve. If you seek a title, you may be disappointed. If you seek service, you will find more than enough to do!)
Question - What are the requirements for joining your church? (In order to join Liberty Baptist Church you must have a testimony of salvation by grace, and have submitted to Scriptural baptism following salvation. If coming from another church you will be asked to agree with our doctrinal statement before joining.)
